Has anyone camped at Seven Springs Lodge / Rattlesnake Saloon campground, Tuscumbia Alabama?

No. But we’ve “camped” at “Camp Red Bay” as it is affectionately know to Tiffin class A owners. It’s their repair facility.

If you plan to stay nearby and go to the Rattlesnake Salon, be sure to find and visit the Coon Dog Cemetary when in the area.

It is a great place to camp if you are in a living quarters horsetrailer. Weekends they're doing trail rides, etc. Then restaurant is in the mouth of a cave and it is interesting--but not fine dining.

Better places would be J.P. Coleman and Pickwick Landing state parks on Pickwick Lake. Or the campgrounds in McFarland Park in downtown Florence, AL. Bay Springs Lake in NE Miss. has some great campgrounds. The Tennessee River valley has many great campgrounds.

I never get over all the tour buses coming in for the Coon Dog Cemetary. My friend's father conducts the funerals out there.

Thinking of going to the Rattlesnake Saloon, thinking if it is worth hauling the 337 down from Huntsville and make a few days of it. There are also some covered bridges and Dismals Canyon in that area that are interesting.
