Chris. I'm still getting that same error that I was getting earlier. I'm getting it with Chrome too. I've cleared my cache and rebooted with no joy. But I logged in through Ginnie's laptop, and there is no issue with hers. So it must be my computer.

    Hi Jim,

I did the same things as you did, ie: cleared cache followed by a reboot. I use Win10 and have a saved URL (icon) for the forum's website which opens with "http://....". Then when I attempt to login I get the error.

I discovered after selecting the icon and see the URL "http://..." Before attempting to login if I click on the forum's page the URL changes to "https://" (secure URL). Then I can login without any trouble. At this point I think my icon for the website is corrupted so I'm gonna delete it and create a new one from the URL that works. You may be having the same problem.

    Hi Jim,

Happy to say the experiment worked!! I deleted my old URL icon for the forum (http://) and replaced it with a new one (https://) and it worked!

Thanks much Kathy! That worked for me too. I should have caught it myself. When I switched to Chrome, the problem went away until I imported my bookmarks. Then the problem came back. duh!

Ahhhhhh. Good point, and great tip! I will also check into the HTTP to HTTPS redirection. I believe there is an option on the server for that.
    Thanks
