The fresh water tank is technically over the axles. The drain comes off the back side, which is behind the rear axle.

We are also considering the Solitude 310 and wonder if anyone has experienced any road challenges with the height of the 5th wheel?
Thanks

The 310GK is 13'5" in height. I navigate with a Garmin 770 LMT-S and always double check the routing prior to starting a travel day, usually with Google Maps. The Garmin allows me to input the size of my Solitude and, in theory, it routes me around bridges or roads unsuited for my rv. In practice, you still have to pay attention. The 310GK is tall, so yes, there are challenges that you will not have to deal with if you have a smaller rv. To me, it's absolutely worth the extra effort required. Getting someplace fast is not my primary concern, getting there safety in a reasonable amount of time is my goal.

Hi Again!
I was wondering if anyone with a 310GK could comment if they have enough room around the table and chairs. It appears awfully tight and it also looks like the chair backs bump into the wood window side trim pieces. Has this been a problem for anyone? Has anyone removed the window side trim pieces to gain more room?
Thanks for any feedback.

I guess it depends on the definition of "enough room around the table and chairs". The chair backs do bump into the wood window side pieces and I have had to repair the wooden side piece on one occasion. I have never bumped it to damaged it, and neither has my wife...I'm 5'8" and Lynn is 5'2". But my friend who is a healthy 6'2" or so gets himself in the space but it's tight for him and contact between the chair and wooden side pieces has caused separation of the top of the right side vertical trim from the horizontal top trim, which is only pin nailed together and the nail didn't quite catch well (at the factory). So I glued it and put in a new nail. I would not remove the trim pieces. My experience has been that all the dinette table/chair setups are similar in size across various manufacturers. It seems more roomy if you only use 2 of the chairs. There's probably more space on the theater seating side of the table. I don't have a tape measure with me so I can't measure it out for you....

Thanks Tim. Sound like it is workable for the two of us. Your description is exactly what I was curious about. I happened to notice on the floor plan diagram that it looked tight and with the table attached to the wall and not moveable i was curious if current owners had any issues.
Thanks again.

Great questions. Whenever a customer of mine inquires about adding a receiver to a Solitude I suggest they contact the frame mfg - Lippert (LCI). I don't want a customer to add something and then void a warranty.

Hello,
I might chime in here as we are also looking at this model.
We where surprised not to see ducted AC in the bedroom.
Its actually one of our motivations to go to a 5er not to deal with the loud Acs anymore.
Ducted AC shall is number 1 on our Top 10 list.
Could you please tell us on the noise level on the not ducted bedroom AC?
How do you live with it?
Would you be able to let the rear Ac running through night and get cold upfront?
The dealers unfortunately won't hook the units up so that you could make own judgement.
We are from the hot south ...
Thanks for your help.

Their is ducted AC. This actually one of the features of GD units. There are 2 AC units one in the main room and one in the bedroom. They both feed the circular duct tract (even though you can redirect for direct flow into that room only). Either can be on and cool the RV but for max cooling turn both on. At night leave the one I. The living room on and shut the one in the bedroom off. Sitting and watching TV turn off the living room unit and run the bedroom AC.
