dometic thermostat
Any one had any problems with the capacitive touch thermostat in the imagine TT. It seams like some times it works good then sometimes when i try and use it it's jumping all over the place like switching from heat to air while trying to adjust the temp. I thought it was broken at first cause the ac fan and the heat was on at the same time but a quick read of the operating instructions book cleared that up.

It has been a reported problem recently. If you can't get it to work, take the front panel off and the touch buttons underneath are a little less hard to operate.

Yeah I took the front off and touched the tabs to set but could not get the front cover back on with out it adjusting the settings again. If it's know then I will wait before I tell my dealer about it to give GD/dometic "hopefully" time to resolve. Thanks

Dometic has a replacement cover for these thermostats, the good news is the replacement is covered by warranty.

Wow, your post on this is very timely. I am having this problem, I'd like to know how to get the replacements. I have gone to dometic website, and filled out a support form. Just didnt know if maybe you had a little more information to help me with this?
This is driving me crazy!!!
Thanks in advance, Dave

The problem is with the thermostat cover, Dometic has redesigned the cover. Installation is pop the old cover off, pop the new cover on. The part number of the black face plate is 3317032.013, white is 3317032.000.
To obtain: take your RV to a dealer, please don't laugh too hard at this suggestion; or call Dometic support I think they will mail a replacement to you. The reason I think Dometic may mail the replacement is based on their willingness to send the replacement cover directly to one of my customers once I explained the trip was about two hours to the customer.Colan and Marilyn Arnold

Thank you for that. Those part numbers will help. Trying to stay away from the RV dealer, always turns into a hassle. I too hope they will just mail them to me. I actually had good luck dealing directly with Dometic. One of the replacement thermostats came defective from the dealer I purchased from. Dometic mailed the replacement to me directly, once I provide proof of purchase and date.

Just wanted to circle back. I contacted Dometic via their webpage, support option, and within a day, they have dropped 3 of these replacement faceplates into the mail for me at no cost. Thanks for the info.
