I thought about all of this for my new weberq. I decided I'm not spending 150 bucks in fittings to avoid buying 3 dollar propane.

We are using a 17 inch Blackstone Griddle to do most of our cooking and converted it to use quick propane connect on camper. Love this griddle because of the very easy clean up after cooking. You can buy carry bag and outdoor cover for it and they work great. Still have to use 1 burner Coleman Stove to boil water or for soups and chili. Bought extra regulator so still can use 1 lb propane bottle if necessary instead of camper propane quick connect.

I will second that. Just got done cooking hash browns on the griddle... I have done the regulator mods on the griddle and grill.

Do search on forum to link for fittings needed to convert Blackstone regulator pipe so you can use quick connect on camper. Key in, "Blackstone" in search block and it will show you links. You have to use the regulator that came with Blackstone Griddle and remove Blackstone regulator from pipe. You can't have 2 low pressure regulators; you already have the low pressure regulator on your campers propane tanks.

So has anyone used one of the new Capital Grille’s per the OP question?

The Torjik adapter kit arrived the other day. It plugs into the factory quick connect fitting under the outdoor kitchen, and replaces the regulator that came with the Blackstone. The Blackstone 17" fits nicely sitting right over the top of the two-burner stovetop. I'm working on seasoning the cooking surface now. Hope to try it out with real food soon.

Also curious to hear if anyone had converted the stove top to a grill?

Does anyone know if you can place pots and pans on these capital grille tops? Basically using it as a burner . Thanks

Been using 17" Blackstone connected to low pressure port on camper and it will do everything except boil water. Use 1 burner Coleman to boil water or make chili or soup. Love the fact that it is very easy to clean usually just with spraying on Pam and wiping off. Hard to clean times just spray on a little water on hot griddle and everything comes off, usually only have to do this is when something has sugar in it like BBQ sauce.
