Accessory and Supply List for New Trailer Purchase

I put a deposit on a 2018 303RLS last night. I plan to pick it up three weeks from yesterday. That gives me time to buy the exact accessories and supplies that I need rather than be pressured into choosing what is in stock when I pick the unit up from the dealer. I already have a camper so I am familiar with the purpose of everything but I think I want to start fresh with the new unit.

Has anyone made a list of the best sewer hookup, water hose and regulator, electric adapters, leveling blocks, etc., etc., etc., that they have had a good experience with?

Congratulations on your new 303RLS. Ours should be in the build process now and I hope to get it at about the same time as yours. Here's a link that I found that might help.

LOL, not sure how I missed that one
I once watched a gentleman eat a sandwich while dumping, and no gloves.

Great list of starter items. I purchased 2 25' drinking water hoses. Kept one at 25' but cut the other into a 10' and a 15' section. Added brass male/female connectors. Now if I only need a short hose to hook up the drinking water I have the 10', if I need a longer I can hook up the 25 and whatever other length I need. Also bought a couple of 3' hoses (one drinking water approved, the other just a regular hose). When I hook up the drinking water I run the 3' out the hole in the tray and then connect. When I'm ready to disconnect, I disconnect the long hose from the short hose and any extra water drains to the ground and not in the tray. Use the other hose when flushing the black tank. Keeps the tray dry. Got one of those slinky hoses to use for the black water flush. Since it collapses down I keep it in the black tank supply bin.

I didn't see the top of the list, but I would get a clear holding tank rinser. Takes the guess work out of determining when your black tank is clean.

Two Items would be very high on my list of must-have items.

    1. Good EMS protector that will not only protect against surges but also protects against low voltage protection which can also damage your electronics in the RV. I wouldn't plug in without one.

    2. Water pressure regulator. I have seen campgrounds with water pressure above 100 PSI that could damage your plumbing. These could either an adjustable or not adjustable but you need to have one.

    Old thread... but....
When we finish the PDI, and are signing stuff and handing over checks, the dealer welcomes us to check out the parts desk. Support your local businessman, or watch out for outrageous markup? Buy hoses, cables, connectors, vent covers, jack pads, and stuff from the dealer's shop - or is Walmart/Amazon/Cabela's just as good but less expensive?

I would use some discretion here. Most dealers will offer a discount at their parts counter. If the pricing after the discount is close, but it.

Don’t be afraid to ask for price matching! My dealer was awesome and researched each item on my list. For the items they could get close, I bought them. For others, I bought elsewhere.

I support local when possible. Sometimes, I have to protect my hard earned money as well!

Best of luck and enjoy your new rig!
