    Soon to be 2800BH owner

    Greetings,

We've been looking hard at the GD Imagine series, and an RV show last weekend allowed us to set eyes on one real-world. The 2800BH looks to be everything we've ever wanted, so we plunked down a deposit ... and will take delivery some time when the snow and salt leaves the roads. Coming from a Forest River V-Cross 27VCFK, the 2800BH is a night/day comparison. We're already looking towards upgrades/mods, and this forum and the members within are a wealth of information. I've admin'ed another forum (totally unrelated) in the past, and fully understand the need to keep the wheels turning ... so I signed up yesterday and paid my 3-year sponsorship today.

Now we just need some warmer weather.

The 2800bh was my choice also. We have only been on one short trip with it. But it is awesome. Did you get the couch or the theater seating? Love the seating kids always want them but it’s our small peace of the pie for relaxing on rainy days and before bed. Enjoy and welcome

It came with the tri-fold couch. Researching swapping it out for theatre seating. Thanks!

Oh yeah, can’t beat the theater seating. I noticed the new ones even come with a massage function. Mine only has heat.

We wanted the sofa for the extra sleeping room. It's technically just the wife and me but many times we have grandkids and sometimes our kids along for a few days.
Actually, if nobody wanted to come with us ever, we would have bought a 2670. Oh well, camping is for families.

Jking, how does that RAM 1500 (in your signature) tow the 2800BH? Currently I have a '16 RAM 2500, the wife hates it ... too much of a "hay wagon" as she refers to the suspension. We rarely tow over 200 miles one way. I may step down to a 1/2 ton next year, especially with the hype coming out about the 2019 RAM 1500's towing capabilities.
