    Greetings from Northern Nevada

We don't yet own a GD (or an RV for that matter) but hope to within the next year or two. Based on everything I've read and heard GD will be the make we choose. We've looked at several floor plans over the past year or so and really like what GD has to offer. I'm huge on customer service and I like everything I've read about GD in that regard.

We don't know yet if a TT or a 5th wheel will be the best for our perceived needs; I know there are pros and cons to both. We'll want to travel with a couple of kayaks, so I believe that's going to nudge us down the TT path.

Thank you for having me, and I'm looking forward to diving in and learning as much as I can!

    Ken

Welcome! GD is a great choice. When you decide, get it as soon as you can and begin enjoying it!

Check out Yakups kayak and bike rack at rvkayakracks.com. That is our plan to carry kayaks with a fifth wheel.

Yes, we really want to do this now. We do have a serious family constraint, though, that makes it very difficult to travel at this time. So, investing in a rig now just doesn't make sense. But I've learned that even doing the research on the topic is therapeutic and gives us something to look forward to. Many thanks for the welcome!

I grew up in the Sierra foothills not terribly far from Grizzly Flats. Worked my way through college as a bartender in Placerville. Thanks for the welcome!

I was looking at those earlier today... ideally, we'll want to transport two kayaks and two bicycles so that looks like a potential solution. Thanks!

How do you like the 337RLS?

NVFlyAngler did you look at the Solitude 375, it was designed for hauling kayaks. It is a monster though.

Welcome NV fly guy. We're in the same boat. Would like to get our GD unit now but have to wait a few years. Like you said, planning is very therapeutic. Planning for the rig, planning the trips, etc. Gives me hope for the future.
