Bed rail installation on bunks (290bh)
I just purchased a 290bh and would like to put some bed rails on the bunks because the bunks are fairly narrow. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good secure way to do it and what material to use.

I have the same trailer.
They have bed rails and bumpers on amazon. Not too fond of either.
Thought about putting up some big L brackets since the pads are so thin.
Not sure what I want to do.
Can you do me a favor and check if you’re getting food air flow from your heat duct in the bunk room. My trailer has the table/bench/bed area

Thanks for the photos! We were just talking about this for our 290BH. How sturdy does it feel? I have a 12 year old mammoth and he likes to roll around a little.

This is what I did to both of our bunks. Used a 1x12, cut out an access, middle of the board for this bunk and the end for the flip up bunk opposite. Used the cut out piece for a gate on this one. So far they have held up.
