I think this thread was started to poke light hearted fun at those of us that have had minor run ins with the law due to indiscretions behind the wheel. Rob, you remind us that it's never ok to operate our motor vehicles in an unsafe manor. I'm sorry for your loss.

I've never been pulled over for speeding while towing. I'm cautious and try to be observant while towing. I see a lot of folks speeding while towing but that's not something I feel comfortable doing. When I'm not towing I have been ticketed .

Nope.....Never been pulled over while pulling my RV, for any reason. Heck the semis pass me. While towing I always go with the flow of traffic with a max speed between 60 and 65mph,. I learned a long time ago that being in a hurry gets you nowhere.

Pulled over for 62 on Interstate 5 California 55 mph speed
Limit all vehicles towing.no ticket but CHP got mad when I asked him why the double standard for semi's they seem exempt from the 55 rule.asked a neighbor who is a CHP and he said no comment and just grinned.
