Lightbulb Giant screen door handle installed

I've never liked the weird round clear door handle thingy on the screen door so I installed this a few days ago, picked it up at Camping World for like 12 bucks.
It's great when it's windy out, really helps you keep control of the door. Comes with 4 small screws, takes maybe 10 minutes to install!

X2. We won one of these at a rally a few years back. I never installed it because I know my wife wouldn't be able to keep herself from using it to slam the whole door shut - guaranteeing eventual failure of the plastic latch that holds the screen door to the main door.

We also added the protector at the bottom on ours, make the whole door much stronger. Click image for larger version.

    Install it now....LOL

You will surprised how well this handle works. I had your same concerns at first. After four years use on our last RV I removed it and installed it on the Momentum when we purchased it. It has never come loose and we are not gentle with it. You can pull it in the wind and slam the door if you want. It works. Now I won’t guarantee if you start yanking the h3$$ out of it. Just make sure pre drill you pilot holes for the screws at the correct size and you mount/screw to the metal of the door.

I honestly believe that is one of the simplest and best design upgrades you can do for the money. Best handle I have seen or use on an RV.

Have installed that handle on nearly all the trailers and m/h's that we have owned and never had an issue with anything breaking when using the handle to assist in closing the door.
Need to clarify that I've always used the regular size cross bar handle (like this one:
http://www.campingworld.com/screen-d...r-black-handle) and not the "wide" cross bar handle.
