Theater seat heater stopped working
We have Thomas Payne theater seat and both heaters have stopped working. Unit is still under warranty but I want to know if there’s a replacement part available rather than replacing the whole seat. Has anyone had this situation and solved it with a new part from GD

I have the same problem with one of my seats as well, only on one side. All other function work fine.

The more bling they throw in these things the more things fail. Might have to flip it over and see if a wire's loose.

One of mine just quit heating. I verified all connectors were secure. Trailer is 13 months old. As soon as the trailer hit 12 months old little things started to fail. Water heater circuit board failed causing no hot water with propane, window leak, freezer frosting up, fireplace heater quit, the newest failure is the seat heater failure.
If anyone has a fix without replacing the seats I’d love to know what it is.Jerry & Linda

Lippert replaced my theater seats twice for failed seat heaters. The two replacements occurred about six months apart. I am guessing that when they fail (I am assuming they will fail again), I will be on my own this time. I fully expect that to happen in the fall when we start using the heaters again.
I have not seen/heard of any attempts at aftermarket replacement of the heaters. Would be worthwhile to figure it out as Lippert wants a small fortune for the seats. I was able to find good homes for the seats with the failed heaters so, did I not take one apart to try and get info off the heating pad. The 12V heating pads are not expensive - challenge would be to find one of the correct wattage to work with the existing control box.2016 F350 4X4 CC SB SRW 6.7 Powerstroke with OEM 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Prep Package
