Hey everyone, thanks so much for your comments. I haven't been back because I'm dead tired! We're spoiling her way too much and need to get a grip on ourselves. We haven't had a puppy in 20 years and we both forgot how time consuming it is and are clearly head over heals and spoiling the crap out of her. She was just a day short of 8 weeks old when we got her and still very bonded with her mom and siblings so the separation has been understandably rough for her. We're not fans of letting her "cry it out" so it is as much our fault as hers.

She still requires to be taken outside twice over night and she's the best alarm clock I've ever had; 5 am on the button and it's time to get up! At least she has stopped crying when she goes back into her kennel after her potty breaks at night which is huge.

She has at least $100 worth of toys but she still prefers our stocking-ed feet and pant legs

Since she was a parking lot pup we were terrified of illness but she got a clean bill of health from our vet and so far so good on the parvo front which can be a problem here in our region.

Oh well, back to entertaining Miley!
