Oregon Coast Recommendations
In late April we are going to spend a few days in Long Beach, Wa., and then would like to head down the Oregon coast for a week before heading back home to Central Wa.
We’d like to split the week at two different campgrounds and would really appreciate some recommendations. I am new to pulling a 5th wheel so campgrounds with pull thru’s are always a favorite with me.
Thanks
Frank

Frank:
Try Winchester Bay, OR (just outside Reedsport). It is a beautiful RV Resort - check out the website and Google Earth.

We've stayed at Devil's Lake RV resort in Lincoln City. Not fancy but fairly priced, nice owners and pull-thru's.

If you like state campgrounds...Beverly Beach or South Beach at Newport are nice. Beverly has some pull thru's. And yes Winchester Bay is really nice, tho you are on top of your neighbor (we'll be there in June). Honeyman St. Park out of Florence OK also, especially if you have a 4 wheeler & like running dunes.

Nehalem Bay State Park, just a few miles south of Cannon Beach. Large sites (we have a 38 ft TT), bike trails, close to the beach. Manzanita is a laid back little beach town right next to the park. Minutes from lots of day use stuff at Oswald West. 10 minutes from CB if you want to do a little touristy action.
Thumbs up for Beverly Beach and South Beach parks. Lots to see and do around Newport and Lincoln City.
Cape Lookout is a beautiful spot, lots to see around there. Go to Tillamook and see the flight museum. You really can't go wrong on the Oregon Coast.

Thank you all for all the great recommendations. Now the hard part ... deciding which one to pick (or which ones are available)

We like Newport Marina/RV...they can accommodate all sizes and we usually do a bottom fishing trip when we're there. Rogue spirits and brews are right next door. Going next weekend and again in June for fishing trips. Also really enjoy Beverly Beach...and Winchester Bay...so many nice places on the Oregon coast if you can get booked.
