Hey I must have missed the post where you talk about this setup.
Can you please link me your thread with the details on your solar system and battery bank?
I'm literally in the middle of piecing ours together and would like to compare notes!
Thanks much. Here is the link to my solar project. You can see how it evolved as you follow the thread.

Jim, is it safe to summarize your setup as 300 watts of solar (3 - 100 watt panels connected in series), an MPPT controller, 3- 90 AH 12 volt batteries and a 2,000 watt pure sine wave inverter which you manually connect your factory power cord to (turning your OEM converter off at the fuse panel) to run your entire trailer.

The more economical mounting brackets don't appear to allow the panels to be easily removed or tilted to allow access for washing the roof under the panel. I don't know if TPO roofs require periodic washing to keep them in good health but doing so would reduce black streaks on the side of the coach and small trees and such from growing underneath the panels. What say ye solar system owners?
Well, I don't do anything to my roof so they certainly don't get in my way but if I did, I would just wash around them and not worry about it. Oh, and I'm one with the "expensive" tilt mounts

The roof of our 220RK will be nearly completely covered with solar panels in about 3 weeks so I'll let ya know how dirty the roof gets.

After 3 years of ownership I know how dirty the roof will get. That's why I asked. But you bring up another question. With the roof almost entirely covered with panels how to do you get up there to wash off the panels to maintain there efficiency?
