Nice! Great pics too. Love the Badlands, looks even better with the snow, and lack of people! :-)
Great experiences for your family. Enjoy it.

Yup, had 50,30 and 20 amp. 50 amp to the camper and ran the electric fireplace heater and a small ceramic space heater. Extension cord from the 20 amp plug to the storage compartment with another small ceramic heater. Kept the furnace on about 65 which had it running for a few minutes every so often to help with the heat underneath. Stayed almost to toasty at night!

We love going to places without the crowds! Just might not be able to get an ice cream cone or see quite everything.

    Thanks for sharing.

The only bad part of going to the Black Hills in the Winter/Spring is there will not be much motorcycle riding.

Here is a couple pics I took years ago.

Backpacker and tent camper all my life, including BSA as a kid and adult.
Motorcycle trips across the USA with a tent - 1978 to Present.
02-10-2005 - 2002 F350 SWD PSD and 2003 Citation 10'8S mostly for Crater Lake Ski Patrol.
    10-29-2015 - 2016 Grand Design 380TH. It's HUGE compared to a camper.
    10-19-2018 - traded truck for a 2016 Ram 3500 DRW Laramie CC 4 X 4 Long Box.
    03-16-2019 - Traded Momentum for a New 2018 374TH-R Solitude
    FULL TIME RV'er Nov 2021

Nice pics! Of coarse for us that are not on a motorcycle though the snow makes for a beautiful and ride with an open road!

I see you did the pigtail Road. What a feat of engineering. 16A SD

Read up on the history of the Peter Norbeck Scenic Highway.

Yup, we did the whole loop. The Iron Mountain road was pretty awesome. We have driven some pretty cool mountain roads, but it really tops the list! Really amazing that the park super built it in a year and a half with 16 men. Can't even get a couple miles of lane added to a straight interstate these days in that time!

We got a bit more adventurous today and roamed around on the dirt roads of Custer and Wind Cave. Talk about really feeling like there is no one else around!
