Here's a problem? I haven't seen before.

I've posted a couple of messages that ended in a grin. (G with arrowheads on both sides). They were there until I posted the message then disappeared. I've even tried to edit the message to add them and they were in the edit then disappeared.

I suspect that the system is interpreting this as HTML coding, but I've never had a forum do this before.

Maybe I'm to old school and I need to start using emoticons, but big and little grins are just part of my style.
