With the four step, it was up one step, open the door, down one step, swing the door, then up the steps. We decided to stay with the OE steps.

Our experience is quite the opposite. My DW is short and can not open the door from the ground. With the OE steps, she would have to step up, unlatch the door, step back and finish opening the door. With the Torklift stairs, she can step on the stairs and open the door without stepping back. The Torklift are SOOOO much more stable too. We have had them on about a year and like them a lot!

    Thanks,

My wife has also thanked me for installing these as a replacement to the stock aluminum steps. She likes that they are lighter to raise and lower along with the stability of the adjustable pads on the lowest step. We also installed the Stromberg Carlson Lend A Hand Extended RV Handle; (https://www.strombergcarlson.com/rv-...ed-assist-rail) which helps with the longer steps.
We have the same handle. The handle and the Glowsteps are a great combination.
Our experience with going up the steps has been good. Step on the first step, open the door, go on up the steps into the RV. No running up and down the steps just to get in the RV.

We have a Imagine 2670MK and wanted more stability and a shallower / less steep entry for our large dogs - 2 bullmastiffs. I looked at all 3 major step brands (Lippert, MorRyde, Torklift) before deciding on the MorRyde Step Above.

We couldn't be happier, the selection guide was easy to figure which model and the install was pretty much the first time ANY install was as easy as advertised. I was a little concerned initially since some GD models had a screen door conflict - the bottom rubbed the threshold. But I had NO modifications needed to install on our Imagine 2670MK.

Before and after pics. The orig steps stay in place or can be removed, not necessary though.

We did and they fit just fine. We did it make it easier for our dogs but the carpeting makes for better footing for people too.

We got these from Amazon. A bit pricey but they were easy to install and they work good. I did have to trim the width a bit. Prest-O-Fit 2-0420 Ruggids RV Step cover black granite 23".

This is why I went with the Glowsteps. Can't swing out the fixed type steps at my storage. Sometimes I can't even open the door to a 90deg. The guy that parks on the other side is another Reflection - there is about 18in between our rigs at the moment.

I bought indoor-outdoor carpet by the yard at Home Depot and cut pieces that wrapped around the steps. I put grommets along the edges and connected them with zip ties.

I will add some pictures tomorrow.
