I'll check mine after we leave our camping spot, I'm not laying on the ground here, there's ants everywhere!

Did my U-bolts yesterday. About half were under torque, but I didn't get more than 1/4 turn out of any so they were pretty well set.

I checked all my u-bolts. Thousands of miles and 2 1/2 years. I had a couple that I could get about 1/4 turn on but that was it. Still glad I checked them.

I checked the nuts on U-bolts this morning before we head out for the weekend at Vogel State Park (north GA). At least half of the nuts turned before the torque wrench clicked - some not even 1/8th of a turn, but a couple had almost a full turn. Our 2018 Imagine has Dexter 3,500-lb. axles, and we've towed it almost 2,000 miles so far.

See post #19 by TusconJim in this thread - torque depends on diameter of the U-bolts. Our Imagine with 3,500-lb. Dexter axles has 3/8" U-bolts, so per the table that Jim posted the specified range is 30 ft.-lbs. minimum to 50 ft.-lbs. maximum. Yours may be different.
