Can the F150 safely tow a 2800BH?

Anybody towing the 2800BH with an F150? Or any 1/2 Ton?
Will a 1/2 ton do the job?

This unit is much like our old Jayco 32BH. So yes you can tow it with an F150 or a 1500 with certain limitations. Weight, keep it way down, rain stop don't try to drive in it, gas mileage, learn to love the pump. We had our 2013 Jayco for a little over a year and towed with a 1500 but as soon as I could I upgraded to a Chevy 2500 4x4 Diesel (4x4 was used mostly hauling the boat out of water). I went from a "white knuckle" driver to a relaxed driver that had enough truck to pull the trailer and all the stuff the DW wanted to take. In 2017 we purchased a new Reflection 311BHS and the 2500HD towed it great - up until last week. Then my son - the GM mechanic - called and said that his dealership had just received a Chevy 3500HD dually in great condition. Now I have a 3500HD, we'll see how that tows the Reflection over the Memorial Day Holiday (lordy those new trucks have lots of buttons). I know that money in most cases is a big deciding factor, tow carefully and don't hurry and you'll be fine. In both cases when I upgraded trucks, I searched and searched until I found the right truck at the right price.

1/2 Ton trucks come with payload capacities from about 1000 lbs up to about 2500 lbs. Many with passenger car tires and some with light truck tires. The answer to your question depends on the specs for your particular truck.
