    Tv in bedroom

I installed a tv wall mount in bedroom. When I connected tv to cable connection, I cannot get any signals. I checked connections in ceiling and wall behind tv in living room and they are tight. What could be the problem?

Check the antenna booster switch on the tv connection plate in the bedroom. For cable the green led light should be "unlit (off) - for antenna reception it should be "lit". You may have accidentally reset the booster switch when connecting your bedroom tv to the connection panel.

Also go into the tv menu settings and make sure you've selected the antenna feed. It's sub-menu buried in the settings menu.

After that you have to tell the tv to scan for channels.

Mark, Don't know if the set up is the same but in my bedroom there is a coax fitting for cable and one for satellite, I had the same problem you described until I connected the TV to the satellite fitting ...worked like it was supposed to. It appears the GD worker labeled it incorrectly, good luck.

Some campgrounds are connecting with satellite, so when you are connecting the coax if you attach it to cable and it doesn't work try satellite connection. We were at Jellystone RV park in Kerrville and had no connection with cable. One of there employees told us that they had just switched over to a satellite system. Hooked the coax to satellite and everything started working.

Having same issue with bedroom tv in solitude 379.

Looked for the green light and there is none to be found. Can’t get any channels in either coax port. Have all channels in living room.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance guys!

Ok. If I “scan” antenna in the bedroom I’ll get about 14 channels, while I have 115 in the living room. There is no green light or anything on the coax plate in the wall. I’m sure the switch for the antenna is flipped somewhere. Anyone know where this is located on my trailer? Trying to get this sorted out.

    Thanks again.

One of the wall plates where your TV coax connects will have the amplifier behind it. Every TV will have a plate with two coax connectors, but only one will have the amplifier. The one with the amplifier will have a tiny pushbutton and LED light - it will probably be the one for the TV nearest to the OTA antenna. Look closely, these connections are often in dark areas and/or hidden behind the TV. You probably won't find it without a flashlight and you'll have to look closely, but it is on one of the TV outlets in your RV.

Well I’m 100% positive it’s not on the one in the bedroom as I looked with a flashlight which means it would have to be behind the fireplace in the living room.

But if that one were switched to antenna would I still be able to get 115 channels through cable in that tv?

I wouldn't think so. Have you checked all of the connections going to the bedroom. Loose connections has been a problem with any of the electronics in these trailers. May have to just start with the obvious ones and go from there.
