    2018 Imagine 2400BH Electrical Issues

So during the night, everything went dead except items connected to 110v like the TV, microwave, and anything plugged in worked fine. The AC, fridge went out and the 12v won't charge well plugged into SP. All the circuit breakers, fuses, and GFI checked good. Well plugged into the seven pin on the truck we were able to run AC, close the slide, and charge the battery. We tried to plug back into SP and everything died once againe. I believe the converter blew... Any ideas?

Sure sounds like it did. Or maybe power surge blew fuses on the converter. That doesent explain the air conditioning however.

From your description . . . that would be my first guess as well.
There are two fuses on the converter. Unusual for them to blow as you describe, but worth checking.

The air conditioner needs 12VDC for the control board and thermostat circuits.

I checked the fuses to the converter and there were good as well. Thanks for the suggestion.

Good catch. I had a house thermostat on my SOB.

On a similar note, my dad plugged his 5th wheel into a newly installed pedastal at his friends camp last weekend (guy owns land and had spots for friends to hook up when visiting)

The electrician made it 30 amp 220! You can guess the results.

What ended up being the problem here? How was it resolved?
