On my Reflection 317RST, the rear center marker light is mounted right on the aluminum cross beam.
It has wires running in it to the top rear marker lights, so Grand Design uses it as conduit.

It looks like mine is the same situation. I'm trying to decide whether or not to drill a hole in it to run wires for the camera.

My original plan was to mount it on top, figuring it would give me a better signal, but I couldn’t find a reasonable path to connect marker light power to it. Trying to run power through the back cupboards looked like a real challenge.

Speaking of signal, I did have trouble with the screen today. Worked fine running up the road, then while parked, it couldn’t keep the picture more than a few seconds, this cycling lasted until I got back on the road. Almost zero problems rest of the day crossing into Canada.

I guess it doesn’t like sitting in Walmart parking lots...

That's strange. You'd think it would mess up worse on the road. My camera is a RVS-155W.
