Heard that Port A RV park was nice, but still being finished out. On the opposite side of Hwy 361 from Pioneer.

Stayed at Port A RV Resort when they opened in July 2016. Great park, clean, awesome staff. They were absolutely beat up by Hurricane Harvey last summer but they're back open and have very little vacancy. They're already added on to the park as well. Island RV Resort, also in Port Aransas, has very small sites and the people that live at the park kinda give you a side eye if you're just there for a weekend or so. We also spent an October weekend at Lagoons RV Resort in Rockport during Seafest. Sites were a little tight to get into with a long bed & bumper pull camper. The host was also sure to point out the park is 55 & up November 1 - March 1, first time we've ever been age discriminated against lol.

We're in Pioneer rv resort as we speak. It's nice, safe and clean. Crowded though. Close to the beach. If you're in the other side you have no direct beach access. I went for a run on the beach this morning which was really nice. We're definitely doing the national park next time.

We've been staying at Pioneer for the past few days and it's been nice. I'm surprised to hear that they can't accommodate your Momentum. There are a lot of large 5th wheels here including a few Momentums, some pulled by Duallies. I think that much of their facility is recently reopened after Harvey, so maybe they weren't back to 100% yet?

Just about a mile or two down the road is a nice looking place called Gulf Winds. May want to check them out too.

Stayed at Pioneer rv a week ago with my 399th. They can fit the biggest rvs no problem. Nice enough place if you like that style of camping. We'll stay on North padre and dry camp next time.

At the time we called them ( last minute ) they had no spaces available for our 376th.. But YES they normally under normal circumstances would have room for us, we are just always sooo last minute, lol
