Not cooling below 80 degrees
I am on my third trip on my new fifth wheel. The temp outside got to 90, and I can not get the inside below 80. Is there something wrong with my two air conditioners?

Same problem. I used a laser temp gun. Front 13.5K AC will drop to 70* in less than 10 minutes. Rear 15K AC will not drop below 87* after an hour on. This was in the shade. Rear AC being replaced Monday.

Whenever an AC is not cooling correctly, remove the register and verify that there is no gap between the cold air and return air sides of the system. If so, seal with duct tape. It is a VERY common problem.

Our dark colored Momentum tends to be a bit of a solar heater, so it challenges all three A/C units. I thought mine were not cooling so I stuck a thermometer into the exit vent of the A/C, kicking out 50f, RV still warm. So I added a couple of small fans, that helped to circulate the cool air.
We also had the fallen down flow director in the A/C.
Keeping the shades down and the awnings out helps also.
Big shade trees help a lot.Dallas
