Welcome! You'll love all the 28BH has to offer! We really enjoy ours. Wish we had a later model 18 to get the nicer Furion oven. Enjoy your travels and get out and make memories!

We are just fixing to purchase our 2019 28bh and wanted to get your thoughts on the outlets in the kitchen. We are purchasing mostly from pictures on the GD website as the nearest dealer is a drive for us. This floor plan just looks perfect for us but my biggest concern is the pictures of the outlets in the kitchen appear to be minimal. I see the one on the underside of the cabinet and one near the sink area. Any advice you can provide on this is appreciated. We are military as well AF Reserve/Civil Service so luckily we don't have to move.

There are 3 "convenient" duplex outlets and 2 that are less convenient but could be used if you had to.

One is under the tv cabinet. One is by the sink and the other is under the folding countertop extension.

The not convenient ones are behind the tv and the microwave one in the cupboard.

Hope this helps. Good luck with your purchase and thank you for serving our country.

    D'oh!!!

I didn't know about the one under the folding countertop. Now I can go buy a vertical oscillating fan to help disperse the hvac air and get some more air into the kids bunk room.

I actually didn't know it was there either until today when I went out to take a few pictures and for some reason thought of looking there.

That's a good idea about the vertical oscillating fan. Might have to look for one.

I considered getting one of those popup outlets and wiring it to the outlet behind the fireplace but the thought of drilling thru the countertop has halted my ambition!

The pop up outlets work well, at least the one in my residence does. You just need the right kind of hole saw. Go on youtube to watch some videos on how to cut through stone. Our countertops are not very thick and I would think a good hole saw would make quick work of it.
