    Eagle Scouts

Did a little search and found some boy scout references. I think we have most if not all military branches represented.
Just wondering about how many Eagle Scouts we have?

    I am one Troop 360 1989.

    #2 son = Eagle Troop 241 2011

As an aside - my father also an Eagle. Sorry, don't know Troop or year. But would have been in New York state somewhere around 1936-38.

I did not stick with scouting. Only made 1st class. Became scout leader in my son's troop. He made Eagle Scout in 2009. My Grandfather was a long time Scout Master and was awarded the Silver Beaver.

Wish I'd finished mine....I was 17, only needed any elective merit badge, and had completed my Eagle project. But, I was also in the Civil Air Patrol, had gotten my Pilots license and lost interest. Gas and girls got me. Both of my sons are Eagles, though.

When I get a job resume that comes across my desk for review, if someone's an Eagle Scout, they automatically make my short list. The work ethic that it takes to attain that level is very admirable and that tells me that this person most likely carried that work ethic on into their working life.
