I did some research on this a while back. Small bubbles, or a "foamy" appearance is common when water is highly aerated and has been under pressure. When you run the water into a glass, it is no longer under pressure and cannot keep the air dissolved and the tiny bubbles form and move to the surface. Think "the bends" with deep sea divers who surface too quickly.

I definitely totally drained the HW heater when I winterized, so not that. I am going to try draining it again in the event that this was caused by trace amounts of antifreeze as mentioned earlier.

I had a thought about this today (ok a dim flicker), on the back of my 29RS there is a hook up for a spray nozzle. I have not used this at all so I assume (I know) that there is
still antifreeze in the line. Could it be siphoning into the water lines some how?
I will run water thru it when I get a chance

Interesting thought, I have a port on the curb side, plus the external shower on the street side. Neither ever gets used, so a likely source for remaining antifreeze. Odd that it would only affect the hot water lines, but worth the couple of minutes it will take to flush them.

I agree with Second Chance. Most likely air dissolved in the water and is released when the water leaves the faucet (reduced pressure). I have this at my house, and have seen it in hotels on my travels. Same concept as pouring a glass of beer/soda.
