Spacers - That was my first thought as well. Are they like the size of golf balls ? Never seen anything like that.

Our new 303 is accumulating a list of deficiencies. It's only been a bit over a month

Be careful when you take it in. Our dealer recommended we wait as long as possible and make our list as full and complete of problems we were having. So we took it in at about 11 months old, after waiting 3 months for an appointment, and they told us they only fix 5 items at a time. So the other 6 or 7 items were not going be covered under our 1st years warranty. Seemed loke a scam to me. So we picked out the biggest ones to fix and went from there. In which case the biggest problem I have, the kitchen slide that holds the TV the fireplace the stove and the refrigerator and pantry, when turning at highway speeds on roads the top tilts out almost exactly 2 and a 1/2 feet. I measured it using a stick on go pro and a taped on measuring tape marked every 6". And then it slams back in, apparently is not fixable cording to them. Makes a mess out of the fridge in the pantry every time. And I can only wonder how long the expensif items such as the TV and refrigerator will keep working being slammed around like that.

I would suggest that you contact GDRV directly with your video evidence and make sure that you advise them of your dealer’s perspective on this.

I can't believe how many forgiving people there are on this forum. The OP's issues and the provider's responses are UNACCEPTABLE.

I now regret buying a Grand Design unit. The brand is to young and the quality-pitch is nothing but hype. Should'a gone with our second choice: Forest River.

I've now started to worry that I'm hauling around a threat to my family's and others safety. It's time this industry to be regulated -- like automobiles, trucks, and boats.

If you think your safety is being threatened by owning a Grand Design, it sounds to me like you need to sell it fast. As for me, we've spent 3-4 months in our Grand Design each winter since we bought it and other than leaking axle seals that were repaired promptly for free, we've had ZERO issues. Most reliable RV we've owned. Actually, it's the most reliable RV I've ever heard of.

I am really sorry that you feel that way. There are many here that work hard to help those that want assistance. If you really feel that strongly, I would like to point out there is a for sale section of this forum and I am sure there are many people that would be interested....

Silicone. First thing GD needs to do is stop using silicone outside for caulking. With so many better products made for flexing and movement why use something made for bathrooms. It's archaic.
