That's funny but not Ed. I HATE the little suckers. Hopefully they will be gone soon.
Once it dries up a bit more in Central Oregon, they seem to thin out quite a bit.

I tell ya what Ken, these Oregon skeeters ain't got nuthin' on the Texas Skeeters I'm used to back home.

We actually have road signs like this warning people, in areas where they're really bad!

If I ever see a sign like that it's U turn time. YIKES! Reminds me of the Chena river near Fairbanks AK or Seward on the Kenai peninsula in mid June.

Been there; done that.
My wife and road the Road King up to Alaska. One night after we left Fairbanks, we stopped to set up camp. The Alaska state bird started circling us. They were trying to get us through the leathers. We set up the tent before taking off any of the riding gear, including the helmets. Some followed us into the tent, but didn't make it out alive.

When camping with my parents, my mother mentioned how nice it would be to have a fan to keep the mosquitos away. I thought this was a great idea and immediately drove to town and purchased two box fans...…..one for each of our campers and they worked fantastic under the awnings.

Y'all need a wife like mine. Skeeters see her and they avoid me. She'll have a dozen bites and I won't even have one!
