315RLTS Window Valances

I want to remove the window valances and rated shades throughout the trailer. I will be replacing with my own curtains and blackouts for the bedroom and other areas.

I can see how the pleated shades could be removed, but I cannot figure out how the valances are removed. Before attempting, and not wanting to damage anything (yet), has anyone any ideas as to how to do this?

On ours it just 2 L brackets holding the valance onto the wall.
Remove the Philips screw from each one.

Still have work to do, but here are some pics. (Bedroom slide is in). Hubby wanted to keep the pleated shades, to filter some light. But those valances had to go. Bought my own material, added blackout lining, used command hooks.

That looks great , Nice job! It does make it look more homey.
I added blackout curtains to the bedroom too but did not make them myself.

Have you had any problems with the pleated shades not staying up?
Ours in the living room does it, I've tried a couple fixes, but they don't seem to last.
They obviously aren't meant to be blackout shades so we'll probably just replace all of them and install the nice MCD day/night shades that come in the nicer model fifth wheels.
