    It's a set of mounts in the bed you can order with a new pickup for mounting the 5th wheel hitch.
    The other way to mount the 5th wheel hitch is with rails mounted on the bed of the pickup.

    There are also some hitches that mount to a goosenect ball. Nice thing about that is when the hitch is removed, the ball can be turned over and you have an entirely flat floor.
