    Looks GREAT Chris and Karen.

I haven't seen any of you posts lately. That looks a bit like Idaho's Sawtooth Mountains.

We've just been out exploring every chance we get!

That spot looks awesome and right up our alley! We hope to eventually make it to the Sawtooths. Have a friend that is from there that sold us on it a while back.

Our packs are in the storage under our bed and have been calling out to be used. We are really tempted to find a nice over nighter here in the Olympic back country to give it a try with the kids. They have done some hikes that would do in some adults after all!

Did you get lucky and it rain? We held out hiking here until there was a 100% chance of rain in Forks since it was clear and sunny when we did Sol Duc and just didn't have the right feel. Figured anywhere that gets 15' of rain a year is a shoe in for rain with 100%. Didn't rain a drop. Still beautiful though!

It was sunny and warm the whole time we were up there, I was actually sweating about 3 miles in.
    We were in AWE.

We never thought we would come to the PNW and get tired of the sun, figured it would be the opposite and be missing it. We do at least stay nice and cool at our site. About as warm as it gets is 70 for a little while. Fog set in about a week and half ago on the Strait and rolls in and out, about the only break from the sun we get!
