    I think you should get a gold star or something for every spammer you zap. Kind of like kills for a fighter pilot.

    oldguy - When you report a spammer or an inappropriate post, this generates an email to all the moderators. Often, one of us will be on the forum and see the problem at about the same time, but not always. So, yes, reporting does help. What also helps, is a a quick note to others on the forum that you have reported the problem. When the forum is busy and a spammer pops up, sometimes the moderators will receive many emails about the same issue.
