310gk Behind the stairs
Can anyone tell me what is behind the stairs in the 310gk? I'm wondering if we can cut into the wall and build a little box in the storage. I know many people have done this with their trailers but I would like to know what is back there before making the cuts. The hubs and I are not 'builder' type of people so this could be Challenging for us.
Thanks,

Prior to making this modification, you should consider going into the basement area in the front of the 310gk and remove the several screws that fasten the carpeted "wall" in front of the stairs and water heater areas. This is not difficult to do. Then you will clearly see what you're getting into for your specific 310gk. On mine, there are wiring harnesses and plumbing in that area that would prohibit me from building a storage box in that area.

Suggestion #2 (an easier and better suggestion - doesn't require moving anything): if you have a smart phone, you can take a picture of the area I described above. In the basement area, there is a gap at the top of the basement wall in front of the stairs. Use your flash and hold your phone in that gap at the top of the wall and take a picture...you should be able to see that there is plenty of wiring in there to contend with prior to making any cuts in that area.
