You should check your outdoor sprayer faucets, make sure the hot is turned off.

I agree with FT4NOW. This Youtube video explains the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsiXaMEneaY

I just went through a similar issue and the good folks of this Forum had the answer, besides the outdoor sprayer check and make sure the tie valve between the hot and cold lines (used for winterizing) is in the closed position, mine was left open at the factory so the water would never get very hot due to mixing. The valve should be located on the backside of the water heater.

How do you get to the back side of the water heater? I need to replace the check valve.

It depends on what trailer model you have and where the water heater is located. On my 2250RK the water heater is located in the left side rear of the trailer and is accessed by removing the wood trim panel under the oven. Good luck! Coop

Ok....I love this forum....I picked up my brand new 344GK Solitude last week....I sanitized the water system yesterday and flushed it today. I started the hot water system...lit and worked good. Tested the hot water and was only warm in all faucets but hot out of the high pressure relief valve....was ready to take it back to the dealership 80 miles one way....decided to check out this forum and wala... I left th outside faucet on (without the hose attached). Works great!
