Flange thickness looks the same, could only put a metal ruler next to it with paint on still on the flange, ~5/32".
I had measured the rear hitch mounting brackets welded to the frame, they're a bit thicker .200"

The frame web measurement was from a piece left almost cutoff next to slide actuator tube when some dealer did some work for prior owner.
I removed the paint from the piece and then measured.

Yes there's the 1/16"T x 1.5" x 8" stiffeners above the all the hangers on the outside of the frame. I think those are standard on the frame now.

    I have 1 X-factor U021-003 for equalizer hangers, 2 X-factor UO21-015 cross menbers for the spring hangers.

There are several frame trusses that go frame to frame
This one is at the rear stabilizers just behind the fresh water tank.

So you have some photos with the coroplast removed, great, did you happen to look and see if there was a gusset welded to the lower flange on the inside of the frame rail like the one you showed on the outside? This type of gusset is better than nothing, but still no where near as good as a full length vertical gusset that goes from flange to flange.

Don't have any photos directly above spring hangers as never fully dropped coroplast there.
Have fed wires between front and rear axles, didn't feel any interior stiffeners.

Closest thing to a vertical gusset is the rear stabilizers bracket welded up the web on the inside.

Made it to Quartzsite Monday afternoon. Hopefully the techs will be able to look at the repaired hanger and damaged equa-flex unit and determine if it is roadworthy.
    Hanging out in site 74.

So I felt sooo bad that we broke our street side rear spring hanger two years ago and everyone else was breaking the curb side that I went ahead and broke the curb side spring hanger somewhere between Pismo Beach and home last Friday (about a 6 hour drive). So I'm going to fab up some "V brackets" and install them when I get a rainless day. A question for Rob (Cate&Rob). Did LCI use the original wet bolts or did they install longer bolts. The reason I ask is that once the V brackets are installed the spring hanger will resist squeezing together as the bolt is tightened and it looks like most hangers are bent inward by the bolt as delivered by the factory.

This really starting to take the fun out of RV ownership.

Yes it has correct track. Worthless. I tried to use it to improve the alignment and got no joy. I needed to make a 1/4" adjustment and the least I could move the axle was 3/8" even though LCI advertises 1/4" resolution. And it makes the hanger way too long.

    Hi Jim,

Yes . . . all the hangers are bent inward to make up the difference between hanger free width and standard bolt head to shoulder/nut length. Just baffling that this is their standard build configuration. What LCI does, is weld in the "V" after the nut on the bolt is torqued down against the shoulder. So the welded in V brace actually reinforces a hanger where the sides are not parallel. This is not "precision engineering" by any stretch of the imagination.
