Loading more weight in the rear risks making the tail wag the dog. If this has ever happened to you you'll know you don't ever want it to happen again. Terrifying to say the least.

I try to load heavy stuff to the rear of our Reflection, and also to the curb side, as the street side is heavier.
Nothing heavy in the front compartment. I load the heaviest items (compressor, tool box, inflatable kayak, etc) to the back from the curb side, lighter things to the front.
Inside we only carry clothes in the closet, and light stuff undet the bed. We carry heavy items under the rear couch......telescoping ladder, screen porch, a couple of wrench sets, and our drinks. Under the curb side sofa end table we carry 12 1/2 Gal milk jugs of water, but we did have to reinforce that shelf after it collapsed during a trip.
We also hang 2 mountain bikes on the rear. Our pin weight is 21%.
