Smile Your perfect trailer - what would it be like?

Along the same lines as the “What would you do if you won the lottery?” thread, I thought it might be interesting to hear about what people would design if they could specify all the details of their own trailer. What would your “perfect camper” be like?

As for me, my idea of the perfect trailer changes all the time, but the following sounds good to me as a long-distance cruiser for my wife and I once the kids leave home:

Type: Gooseneck or fifth-wheel frame. Scalloped front cap to provide cab clearance.
Layout: Front bedroom, middle-bath/kitchen (keep tanks over axles), rear couch+dinette like the RF150 230RL.
Height: ~11’4” (Low-mid profile. I don’t need a stand-up bedroom, but I do want to be able to roll over and not feel claustrophobic).
Total length: ~28’ or less would be wonderful.
    Slides: Through-frame electric slide (dinette).
Structure: Six-sided welded aluminum, plywood decking roof/floor.
    Exterior skin: Aluminum
    Axle type: Dexter Torflex
Axle rating: 120% of that needed to support trailer GVW.
    Brakes: Disc!
Electrical wiring: Run below floor in orderly channels until pulled up into trailer at point of use.
Plumbing: Opening all faucets and all low-point drains should drain all the lines without the need for purging with air. Water-pump bypass with valve to allow discharge and suction piping to drain back to fresh-water tank (low point).
Tanks: Preferably one grey tank, one black tank, both near or over axles. Outlet pipe up high and just behind rear axle.
Access: Bottom "skin" of trailer setup as segmented removable aluminum panels to provide easy access for plumbing/electrical repair.
Jacks: Electric landing gear and manual rear jacks are fine with me.

One where everything works all the time.
Seriously, I have pretty close to that now...considering our current usage.
Light enough to pull with my 1500
Bunks for grandkids when they come along
Plenty of room inside for bad weather days
    Better than average build quality
    And the best part...everything works!!!

A Reflection 337RLS with a decent oven, real wood cabinet frames and trim, slightly larger gray and fresh water tanks, MOR/ryde independent suspension, Goodyear or Sailun load range G tires, a good dampened pin box, quiet air conditioners, and dual pane windows. We've added/upgraded what we can of these things and have learned to live with the rest. The size and floor plan fit our lifestyle perfectly.

100 Gal grey and black tanks - one each
real Pex plumbing throughout with the proper Pex connectors
make it so the shower has good water pressure instead of the dribble we now have
all wiring and plumbing run through accessible chases
    proper tank sensors that work
    independent suspension
    disc brakes
GVW less thank 15k lbs so we don't need a non-commerical Class A driver's license
    No Lippert components
Coleman Mach 8 low profile ac units
    No carpet anywhere
Keep the length shorter than 34 ft
optional triple bunk beds for the kids instead of dual bunks
    mount the shower head HIGHER
access panels inside and below so that repairs can be effected easily
all bedroom tvs should be mounted at the foot of the bed, NOT the wall to the side

If size did not matter and all we did was private parks....After seeing the new upcoming Solitude 380 at the rally, that could be it ! REALLY liked that floor plan. With upgraded axles because in true GD fashion the CC capacity is a pitiful 1800 lbs

They finally posted it to the website... wow! That 380 is a nice floorplan. I agree the CC capacity is low for the size. If only wish we could warp time/space and park that thing in national forest campgrounds.
