Connect my 50A to household?
My 50A Reflection is parked at my house and the onboard battery in drained. Can I safely connect my 50A to 30A dogbone to a household circuit using an adapter to charge the battery, use the lights and operate the landing levelers?

Yes, mine stays plugged in all the time. Use a cord that is at least 14 ga wire.

About the only things you can't run without tripping the house circuit breaker are the microwave, A/C, electric fireplace, and the hot water heater (on electric).
On the trailer, the slide motors and the landing gear might or might not draw enough current to overload the circuit breaker.

You can also use a 50 to 110 plug and plug into wall outlet for storage applications. Keep an eye on your battery water levels

Desertcamper - Just make sure that your 30A household circuit is 120V. Some (usually older) 30A household circuits are 240V.

Would it just be the 2nd AC unit that can't be run using a 30A shore power connection? I would think that most everything else would work fine on a 30A circuit. And 12V DC devices on the trailer shouldn't be affected by the shore power circuit at all, as long as the shore power is keeping the battery charged, right?

There’s an adapter that I use at home to plug my 50 amp RV into 30 amp 4-wire 240v dryer outlet. I can run everything including 2 air conditioners. IMPORTANT. It must be a 4-wire dryer outlet, not a 3-wire. A 3 wire dryer outlet does not have a required neutral where 4-wire does.

Just go down to home depot or hardware store buy a rv outlet box for about 150.00 two circuit breakers and some 3 wire awg 8 wire (whatever length) may require some PVC conduit and just set it up right.
The box should be all set up for 110, 30amp, 50 amp hookup.
Very easy to do.
Then you can run it all

I left all three of my previous units (Fleetwood, Jayco and Gulf Stream) plugged into 110 for many years just to keep batteries charged and turn on fridge pre-trip to load it up with food. Only issue we ever had was a bad battery that started smelling like sulfur. It was due for replacement anyway.
I installed a 50 amp plug for my GD and I leave it plugged in as well. No issues in nearly 3 years now. It's nice having the 50 amp plug because we can turn on the AC units while prepping for a trip.
