Is the Solitude 385 GK the 2019 replacement for the 384GK?

Personally I'd find it annoying to have to go to the other side and around to get to the bathroom from outside. Nice to only have to go a few steps, esp when keeping shoes on!

It's literally about 4 steps more...and accessible with slides in.

Anybody talk to GD or know WHY GD discontinued the 384GK? My perception was that it was a very popular floor plan. The bathroom in the 385 is too small and they did away with the desk.

X2....IMHO the floor plan of the 384GK makes more sense.

We were lucky enough to get a 2019 384gk-r custom ordered a week before they discontinued the model. While the 385 replaces it, one of the major selling points was how large the bathroom was without really taking up any extra room since part of it was integrated into the slideout.

I couldn't agree more. The bathroom was the big selling point for me and my wife. Not to mention that the bedroom seems so much more roomy with opening into the bathroom, less like a cave. AND it had a decent CCC.
Does anyone know how oftem GD makes changes to their Floorplans?

Take a look at the new 380, it has a very nice roomy bathroom with plenty of storage and room for washer and dryer too. If we were to go 40 ft or more the 380 floor plan would be on the top of my list. GD is always doing little changes but new models only seem to come out once a year
