I wish the fresh water tank use those sensors, it would be an easier fix. However; fresh water tank uses spin weld sensors, which I can not remove from tank.

    Hmmm . . . that's a different problem.

The only thing that I could think of do is to use a hole saw piloted on the OD of the spin weld fitting (center drill removed) to cut out the leaking fitting. Then insert a plug that you can tighten to expand. The difficulty would be coming up with the right combination of hole saw size and plug size. This would also eliminate the level sensing function . . . not that these work anyway.

In the longer term, I think that I would be going after GDRV for a new tank.

Talked to GD today and I can take RV to any dealer around me to fix. Hopefully GD can send me a tank and I can install. If I install tank, I know it will be done right.

GD sent me a tank and I will install in a few weeks. I'm going to drop all the coroplast to replace tank. While all coroplast is down, I will organize all electrical wires and tie up. I have left over insulation from building my metal shop and will install insulation before I replace the coroplast. I guess extra insulation will not hurt anything?

Glad to hear you are getting this resolved. Any documentation or pictures you could supply would be very helpful to others. Also practice saying " are you kidding me" , from the reports of what others have seen under these things I am sure you will see one or two things that you will say that to.

My previous RV was a Forest River. Nothing surprises me.
