Unless company owned properties, the fee for franchisees is 10%. We also stayed at the Buffalo Wy KOA this past summer. Very nice park but we did not pay $95 for our stay. I would have moved on down the road for that price. But as was said, it is more crowded out there so rates are on the increase. JMHO

When we travel to our final destination we don't reserve spots for overnight stops along the route. When we first started RVing would just pick the random park and few times we ended up in a questionable part of town and didn't have that fuzzy warm safe feeling. We started using KOA even though we found them few dollars more and never hit park that really bad part of town or we didn't feel safe. Not saying that KOA doesn't have parks that are questionable but we just haven't hit one yet.

goldsp8 you must have missed the part about the hot tub. I would not pay $95 for a camping spot either, but with the hot tub and a one time luxury it was worth it.
