    Departure and Return checklists

I am sure there are links to such checklists here but can’t find them—mostly just finding PDI checklists. We need good checklists for pre-departure and for return. Links? Thanks

I made my own hitching & unhitching check lists. I wrote everything down the first time we did it. Then added things that I missed as necessary.

I downloaded an app called RVChecklist for my smart phone. I have yet to take my first trip after buying a new 22RBE, but it seems pretty complete and convenient.

Fran used checklists she found on the 'net as her starting point and then customized them to fit her (our) needs. We find we're still tweaking them! She really likes using Google Keep. (I haven't tried it yet.)

Kept checklist for the first year, but it's gotten to be routine now.

You're going to be in big trouble when your DW figures out that you're scamming her in to doing all the setup and teardown. (But you have the checklist, dear.)

Pretty much with us too, its a memory jogger for me!
Also we have assigned tasks, keeps us from saying I thought you did it, no I thought you did!

For those of you new to RVing, some of us keep and use check lists for departure. We recently bought a new 5th wheel and updated our checklist. Of course everyone's list is customized to their rig but thought I would post the one I just updated and use outside the RV when we are getting ready to leave. I tried to incorporate things in the checklist like the pull test and rollout brake check because I may not be the one in the drivers seat.

Anyway, thought I would post. It is laminated and kept in the drivers seat side pocket. Of course my outside list is coordinated with my wife's inside checklist.

And add, if you have an outdoor kitchen make sure that it is locked. Wasn't any fun driving down the highway watching all the stuff from the outdoor kitchen flying in the wind.
