    Landing gear

    landing gear

    PLEASE HELP!!!

The front landing gear on my Reflection 150 series 295RL won't extend or retract.
Is there a fuse I'm not seeing? There is nothing in fuse panel/circuit breaker box labeled for front landing gear.

    Thanks

    Dead battery?
Did you Hook your truck up to it and try?
Also there’s a hole in the passenger side near the gear motor and you should have received a rod with your purchase that allows you to manually raise and lower.

There is a 30 Amp fuse (flat bladed) near the battery, in a fuse holder. It seems to blow if you either extend or retract to far so we keep spares in the glove box.

I had the fuse issue once. I have also had 3 of the extend/retract switches fail. I now carry spares.

    Can someone link the switch?
I’m assuming they’re all pretty much the same?
I’d like to buy an extra to have on hand just in case.

Switches of this configuration come in different current capacities. Many are rated at about 15 amps. Look for the ones that are rated at 30 amps for controlling landing gear.

Yeah - If you look at the specs on the Amazon switch that Minnow linked to above, it states that the switch is rated for 16 amps @ 12 VDC. However, I purchased a couple of them and the switch is clearly marked with 30 amps at 12 VDC. I notified the seller of the error on the Amazon site and they said it was a typographical error and they'd fix it. However, that was two years ago and it still shows the incorrect specs.
