Looks like there might be a couple versions of the same, but with different length shaft, but the pictures are the same. Did you actually go with the longer one?

This is the standard shaft length model https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C4UBMW8 ...which of course looks identical to the other one...

I went with the longer shaft version, which is funny though as I do not recall it saying that when I ordered them. I wonder if they are expanding their line-up.

I went with a TV mount that came with two wall connectors and a quick detach. I put one in the bedroom and one in the outside kitchen. It promptly got cold enough to not worry about moving it yet, but the size 14 screws and two extra holes drilled into it in the bedroom makes it quite solid.

    bigger stuff

Most of that stuff was easy. Thankfully this was pretty straight-forward as well:

Since I had the wheels off, it was a perfect time to take them to the local tire shop for some solid metal valve stems to hold the tire monitoring sensors securely.

Out of storage finally. Time to Mod (well, and camp maybe)

Just got it out of storage today! I think it is going to be a good camping year, but if not, at least we will have some neat mods.

First off, I purchased a LevelMate Pro v2 from a fellow GD owner here on the forum who upgraded to a unit with auto levelling. I understand that the only thing better than a LevelMate Pro is auto levelling... well, and Bacon. Bacon is pretty good, too.

I mounted it in the front pass-through on the top of the control panel. I wanted it here so I can get to the switch easy enough to turn it on if I forgot to do that earlier.

for those that have not seen the app. Green means you are done! (go cook the bacon)

The other thing I did tonight after getting it home was to mount an extra battery charger. I use cordless tools for various things including the stabilizer jacks, and intend to get the small cordless leaf blower for blowing the roof and slide off before retracting.

Happy 2019 camping season everyone! There are more modifications to come as it was a long winter, and long winters mean big piles of mods that build up.

Dang, you're almost as bad of a mod junkie as I was last year when I brought our brand new Reflection home!
I did about 25 mods to it within 3 months. I've done 33 mods to date. I wonder if there's a support group for this.
The trailer cost $32k brand new and I've spent another $16k on mods and upgrades!

    LOL

I think this forum IS the support group...this form also contributes to the mod "problem" we all seem to have.

I'm a big fan of the battery charger in the basement on the wall, I have one in mine too except I dont have an outlet in there. I do have an outdoor outlet right next to my basement door, so I plug the charger in there when needed.

I can picture the meetings. It would be a cross between an AA meeting and confession...

    Hi, my name is Ed.

    Welcome Ed!

It’s been 2 weeks since my last mod.

    Amen brother!

two weeks between mods is for amateurs.

It’s been 2 weeks since my last mod.
I didn't realize I was supposed to wait so long. I might forget some that I did in the meantime. It may actually be an addiction.

Today, I installed the excellent tables from Tom Lasonde @ Beavertail Tables into our theater seating:

There is another thread on here that talked about them last year, and the better half found the FB reference about the same time. It seemed a no-brainer once we saw the quality of the work Tom does.

I also had purchased a couple touch sensor reading lamps from Amazon a few weeks ago. These have a smaller diameter mount than the larger white LED lights they will replace. I wanted to use the existing holes,
so I fired up Tinkercad and whipped up some 3D printed mounts for the new lights ( Amazon link here).

I am making the resulting file available to anyone else that would want to print out a couple in the color of your choice and go to town.

You can find it here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3531945

It got too late and too cold out, so I started the second one printing, and will probably get them installed tomorrow with a final picture.

These lights are touch switches that dim and have blue mood lighting you can turn on instead of the reading lamp. Since they hang down a little, they are much easier to turn on and off over the bed, and since they are more directional, one can be on while the other side can sleep in much nicer darkness. A nice upgrade for certain, no April fooling here.
