I will admit that I am feeling a bit anxious and overwhelmed with all we have to do to get out of here before the snow flies. 30 days will go by real fast. got a lot of stuff to sell or get rid of, figuring out what to keep or not. I'm probably making a mountain out of a molehill. Any advice from those that have been through this is appreciated.

Congratulations! That's a big step. I will be watching this thread closely as I'm a couple of years from doing the same. Hopefully the real snow holds off until after Thanksgiving.

    Cheers,

Congratulations. I'm contemplating the same, just can't quite build up the courage yet to pull the trigger. I have a main home, a vacation place and a farm I'd love to unload. No financial concerns at all, just the idea of it and not having our main home is the hump we can't get over right now.

Lots of good info on this forum from the brave souls who went full time.

Things are going well, Yest. was the first day of our Moving sale and all went well. As I type I am sitting in a recliner lawn chair as most of the furniture sold. we should be on the road some where around Nov. 9-12. Not sure of exact date, the headed south.

When we sold our home and went full-time I realized how little all the crap I had bought for the house and accumulated was worth. We ended up doing many dumpster runs at the end because there was no way in hell I was going to pay $x a month for storage for crap I couldn't even give away.

You learn to do with less and it's healthier on the mind and on the wallet.

We were told last night that our closing date on the house is moved up 9 days. We are to be outa here on Nov. 1st. We are going to be extremely busy for the next 8 days, but we now have a better chance to get south before snow flies.
