Replacement 310-GK table
Kathe has never been happy with the table and seating arrangement in our 310-GK, considering it too cramped; we had no space to pull the chairs out enough to be seated easily, and it was very difficult for us to both work on our laptops at the same time.
We found a table that we liked--on Amazon, of course--and have just switched over. It is https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Since it is not attached to the walls or floor, when we have people in for dinner we can move it into the open "living room" space and seat 4 at it.Al and Kathe

Hi, Randy and Sharon
That's a really good question! The answer is, we don't yet know. At the point I made the post, it had been "installed" (assembled and placed) for all of about 10 minutes.
I THINK it will ride OK. We never strap our chairs down. But we've also talked about possibly turning it upside down with some closet shelf anti-skid mat under it to keep it from sliding on the carpet. I don't think that the tie down points from the chairs which we have yet to remove are robust enough to be useful, and I'm hesitant to put heavier tie downs in place due to their appearance.Al and Kathe

Nice idea Al.
Your original table *was* attached to the wall with a big upside-down L-shaped bracket. Along with your dislike of the factory table being too cramped, we are concerned about someone stumbling and putting too much weight on the end of the table and busting that bracket out of the wall. We also don't like that these tables scratch & wear so easily.
However I've been concerned about the mess left behind if we replaced the table. In your photo I can't see any sign that the big table-supporting bracket was there on the wall. Is that more artful magic on your part?Mark - 2018 Solitude 310GK - 2017 F-350 diesel SRW short box - Pullrite Superglide hitch

No magic; just a Robertson bit in my drill/driver.
Sixteen screws. Eight hold the table to the bracket. Eight hold the bracket to the wall. I'm pretty sure that they're into the aluminum frame, but don't know that for sure. The screws into the wall were moderately stiff to remove. If you have a Robertson (square) bit, use it. I think you would stand a good chance of stripping out the heads if you try to just use a Phillips on it. On mine the screws were pretty close to the sides of the frame. A long Robertson bit is really handy to get into tight places in many spots on a rig.
So now we have eight screw holes in the wall to patch. We'll get to that at some point. Probably once we settle in the AZ desert.Al and Kathe

Heh, I'm Canadian, we *invented* that fine Robertson screw head, never understood why it didn't catch on in the U.S. I've got loads of Robertson bits.
They sure aren't obvious in your picture. Maybe my wife wouldn't notice them either, and save me the patching work! Thanks Al.Mark - 2018 Solitude 310GK - 2017 F-350 diesel SRW short box - Pullrite Superglide hitch

I wonder how it would look to use two strips of wall paper seam tape to cover the holes. It is available from GD.

We picked up a small jar of woodfill. I'll push in the tiny edges of the wallpaper and then fill the holes. No one will be the wiser and they're under the table anyway. 😃
