2018 solitude vs 2019 solitude line

I am looking at the GD solitude lineup. I noticed that the 2018 vs 2019 GVWR increased from 2018(16,000) vs 2019(16,800). Does anyone have any idea why? Frame improved?
    Thanks
    Rick

All the Solitudes except the 310 and 374 now have a 16,800 GVWR on 2019 GD website listings. They all still have 7,000 pound axles.

Awesome. We are picking up our 19 377 in a week or two and it would be nice if it came with the increased weight.

Still on 7k is interesting to me. Would be nice if they went up to 8k.

Is it possible they moved the axles slightly to gain CC ? I remember having a conversation with Jerry at one of the rallies and he commented about maybe shifting the axles to gain CC on the 375 when the prototype was at the rally. I wonder , have the pin weights changed any ? If they're playing with getting more capacity the weight shift has to go someplace right?

In the case of the 3350 RL S-class they are able to achieve 4500 lb ccc. I know that they have electric vs hydraulic 6 pt level up. the windows are not frameless, not sure if the frameless are less weight. There is less cabinetry and they do not use the lift for the TV.The dining table has a leg and from my understanding the metal(to enable no leg under the dining table) that has to be added to the wall that it attached to is substantial.
The finish on the fiberglass is NOT high Gloss with the cap being the exception. I am sure there are other things b/c I was told the S-class is built on the same frame as the standard Solitude.

Interesting, my '19 375 RES does indeed list 16,800 as max GVWR. I'm assuming they mean shift axles rearward to put more weight on the pin or do I have that backwards lol.

The 375RES has a 2900 dry in 2019 and I think that what it had when it had 16,000 GVWR in past years. Since on a truck, the GVWR is the chassis rating maybe LCI upgrade their frames to carry additional weights. Solitudes with the exception of 310 and 374 went up to the 16,800 with various dry pin weights.
