    Found a reasonable welder and took the ball shank over to him this morning, Discussed what I wanted to do and came up with a bit better design (stronger). Should be done in a few days

    I got one made up and will try it out tomorrow with pictures. Welder did a nice job. It was still hot when I picked it up.

    Set up worked like a dream. Tractor had plenty of lift capacity. Sure is easy to park the trailer now.
